To all our boating brothers and sisters out there ,with all the media attention on the bushfires at the moment it has been hard for us to concentrate on our enjoyment ,amongst all the hardship around us, but nonetheless “life has to go on” even though sometimes we feel that we are at its mercy! So what is happening at the moment boating wise? Well why not get the family or friends together and take a trip up to the docklands or the Yarras edge, why not visit the iconic Telstra Dome and believe it or not the yarra river can be quiet calm on a day when the wind is blowing. also a reminder to all our boating enthusiasts that Easter is coming up, so why not get a group of you to moor up alongside one another and sit of Sorrento or Portsea for that long earned break.

To all our keen anglers things have been a bit quiet at the moment with the snapper spawning, but I have heard there are small patches of whiting around and some very large sea garfish just out front of the Marina .Dont worry the fish will come back on again remember its very hot out there and if I were a fish where would I go? Deep. Deep. Deep.
