Snapper season 2012

Once again we need to dust of the fishing rods, and head out on the water. The snapper are close by with fish being caught around the Fawkner beacon and Ricketts point, one of our members in the Boat and trailer park caught 4 fish with 2 being well over the 4 kg mark. In the last couple of weeks the Public ramp has been a hive of activity with the weekends being very heavy with boating traffic, also the Marina would like to apologize for the Traffic Interruptions at the entrance to the Marina from Beaconsfield Pde, due to the number of triathlons being conducted on the weekends, We strongly advise that if you Intend to go boating that you check the website for future events being conducted, over the summer months, the marina will  be voicing your opinions to the Council and the relevant sporting bodies concerned. at the frustration you are experiencing trying to get in and out of the Marina.
