The water temperatures are dropping! but there are still fish being caught at the marina and associated areas nearby ,some large snapper are still being caught at the 16 metre mark off the channel. Pinkies are being caught up to 500g off ricketts point at sundown ,the other night on my way home I saw at least 15 boats in the area. For those of us that dont want to travel too far, they are catching large sea-gars just out the front of the St kilda marina on those glass like days,out on the reef. Whiting have been a little patchy but every now and then up north at Port melbourne you can come accross a school or two if you know where the weed is?
